Hey everyone! I'm glad to join the site! I'm a new duck owner and might need some of your advice. I've been raising 2 Ancona ducks since they were a week old. They are now just over 3 months old and they both have a curled feather in the middle of their tail feathers. I was under the impression that I had one male and one female. The runt of the 2 grew so much faster and his tail feather curled a lot sooner than the other one who ended up being smaller. My black and white one is smaller and the vocal sounds aren't as deep pitched as my grey and white one. So I thought the black one was a female until the tail feather started to curl. I've read about the sex feather, but wasn't sure if its coincidentally an Ancona thing too? Anyone know?
