Hi! My name is Marieti, I am the new mom the 2 ducklings...Indian Runner and Rouen...They are adorable and are soo very comical...I have tons of questions about them, mainly how can you tell if for sure you have a male and female duck...I have been doing some reading online and I know you can't tell for sure until their feathers come in, but certain traits that I've read about so far lead me to believe I have a male rouen and female runner..I could be wrong ofcourse..either way I love them dearly..They are both very cuddly and social, I have 2 kids as well, and they follow my babies all over the place, its very cute..They play in the water often and eat like crazy! In just 2 weeks they have tripled in size, I am assuming they are roughly 3 weeks old. Today my rouen started quaking in between chirps, sounded low and raspy, but was very cute! My runner is very loud and never stops chirping, when I leave her side she goes into a panic and starts chirping super loud! I have enjoyed them in our lives thus far and am looking forward to many great years of them in our family!
