you could post on the "Emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures thread." someone should know the dosage for young chicks.

1/4cc for chicks, 1/2cc for standard sized birds, 3/4cc for giants.

Right now you want to use 1/4cc (mL is the same), redose in 10 days. Tape worms are hard to get rid of and many have to repeat treatments a couple of times. Make sure you completely change the bedding.

Good luck with your chicks and hope you get those worms under control quickly.

Thanks for all the info that helped me a lot. I will dose them tonight and hope for the best.

This is a link for a picture of what you are looking for. You will see this for 3-5 days after treatment. You want it to be clear before you stop treatments. Some report that it looks to still be alive, the wormer works slower but that is for the safety of your babies. In most cases you don't want to deworm until 8 weeks of age. Keep your cool, tape worms are frustrating. If you need to vent or ask for any more info just keep posting. Good luck!
