Calling in from Mid-west MO. Born a city boy, raised a city boy, and continued living the city life despite having around 6 acres at my disposal. Recently decided to change that, and my first step was chickens. Six hens, a rooster, and it's been a pretty great experience so far. Happened to see the site, and I know eventually the girls will do something odd enough that I feel compelled to ask for help. So when the time comes, I'll be here!
Anyway, nice to meet you all!

you don't need to call for help to participate here. Lots of great pictures to see, breeds to drool over, people to trade ideas with- 24 hrs. a day
 
Heheh, I've seen the vast ocean of information. I'll definitely have to check it out at some point. I'm just expecting my chickens to pull something that not everyone can relate to or help me with. Such that my chickens eat scorpions from around here. Not every chicken owner will be able to give me feedback on that. Now, I'm sure a lot of people on this site can. But...well I guess that's the beauty of it!
