Hi, my name is John and I am from Greenville, SC. Me and my wife currently have an even dozen of laying hens plus four roosters. They are are Ameraucanas and I am trying to breed them true to color and to the breed standard. I am not raising any this year but I intend to next year. Currently I am building a new incubator which is a cross between a GQF and a Dickey to hatch them in when I get ready. We have raised chickens for forty five years and still enjoy it. Being both retired it gives us something to keep us active and busy. We do sell eggs and have a hard time keeping up with the demand for them.
