When I was little my grandparents raised chickens. Now 50+ years later, I want to raise chickens.
I built a small coop big enough for 4 hens and a roo. I will be building a few of them in the near future, like tomorrow.
Thanks to this site, I have learned a good bit about chickens. The problem I am having so far is finding chickens to purchase. I found some chickens at a local flea market, but they looked like they may have a medical problem, and I don't want to start a flock with problems.
There are a few livestock auction in our area, upper SC. Thought I might check those out. I have relatives that sell goats at one of them.
Any way, thanks for such a wonderful and resourceful site.
