A sex link is when you can tell the sex by the color. Mostly referring to red sexlinks or black sexlinks both being a highbred hen known to be good layers.

Take this chicken math issue seriously. I set out to have eight and now have 13. When you are done with the breeds section, you will want 20 birds, I know I do.

I'm helping a friend build a coop and run for 12 birds, but we are actually building it accommodate 30!

OMG this is turning out to be SO true for me! I wanted about 4-5 birds at first but now after reading (and seeing pictures) about all kinds of different breeds I keep adding types to my wishlist...I'm going to have many a chicken soon lol
