New to this and have questions

Please bear with me...I'm totally new to this. Have recently acquired a rooster and he LOVES my girls. I think I may have fertile eggs now, however none of the girls will sit on them so they can hatch. Is there a way to encourage one of the hens to become broody? If not I will need to get an incubator to do the job. Can someone point me in the right direction for info on "hatching chicks for dummies"?

Some breeds of chicken do not go broody, and there is no way to really incourage broodiness, its hormonal.

You can get a foam incubator at most feed stores including Tractor Supply.
