(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We had chickens in 2008, they were all killed by a fox and we gave up. Shortly afterwards we moved to California in the city.- No chickens-- Now we bought a home in Washington with 5 acres so we are trying to do this again.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10
(3) What breeds do you have? Leghorn, Americana and marans
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I know what my chickens eat so I feel safe feeding my family these eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Photography, Playing crystal bowls, Gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a professional Life Coach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I have a son 18- Autistic and loves to care for our chickens. My partner and I have been married for 20 years. He enjoys space travel and documentaries
