New to this community

I would like to introduce myself. I am new to chickens. Just bought a house and the seller left us 6 adult laying hens.
We added 3 chicks and then another 6 chicks. I have Wyandottes, RIR, Java, Maran and Americuana. I keep them mainly for the eggs and they are great company while working in my vegetable garden.
I found this website through google while searching for some information about how to introduce older chicks to adult hens. This looks like a great community and I am happy to be part of it and learn from you all!
