Yes! Thank you! This pic is before I stapled the wire at the base about 24 inches all around so they couldn’t dig under. That window is plexiglass. I should cover that with wire too? Sorry if that’s a dumb question. 🐥 oh I see what you’re saying wrap more wire around the base. Ok, thank you!
No problem! Okay, if it’s made of plexiglass is should be okay. 😊

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

Give them a huddle box to sleep in to stay warm. It's just a box laid on it's side with a thick layer on dry bedding in it that is big enough for all the chicks to fit in and be cozy. Position the entrance away from any drafts but leave windows open for ventilation as long as rain can't get in.
You are going to want to modify that prefab coop to make it function better. You can post pictures of it and start a new thread in the Coop and Run Forum.
Thanks!!

Welcome to BYC.
I bought that coop for a broody house inside my Large run a couple of years ago.
It did not have enough ventilation. It wasn't strong enough to keep any predators out, and if it hadn't been inside a run, I would not have used it at all. I took it apart and used the parts to build new brooders inside my coop.
I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, but you should probably build something more secure, with more ventilation.
Best of luck with your flock.
