Thank you for all the welcomes!

I am from Northern Ontario ( someone asked).
I don't keep chickens over winter because our barn in not heated and without large animals it would be too hard. My layers will be going over to an Amish family who's layers are getting oder and they need new ones.

I haven't stopped in here in a while...been busy with my Bernese Mountain Dog Whelping 4 puppies, ended up in a c-section, plus two of my boys graduating the same week with company rolling in. Phew! Am I glad that's over!

I'm off to look up info on washing eggs!
