Getting bee hives this summer, I like to work with fabric, taking up pyrography with my uncle as my mentor, and volunteering

My kids are almost all grown, we have cats, dogs, and a geriatric salamander, I am a homemaker and I get paid to care for two-year-olds twice a week...

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
I just did a search on facebook because the chickens came out of nowhere, a friend is chickensitting for me till I get their space ready and I might be freaking out just a little. I've found bee clubs/pages to be very helpful so I thought it would work for chickens too :)

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I got to visit the girls today, they are so much bigger than I expected and for all the craziness in their world, they laid eggs! I was not expecting that. One of them is very small, she looks like a juvenile, when I can I'll snap a pic and post it here to see if anyone knows why she is so small. They really are something else, though! I'm even more motivated to get them home.

Welcome this really IS the place your looking for. I have learned so much being on here. Folks are so eager to help and very knowledgeable.
