New to this & lovin it!

Hello everyone! I'm new to raising chickens. I recently got 2 chicks from a friend. One is a polish hen (i think) & the other might be a rooster. I'm not sure how to tell when they're young (about 8 weeks i think). I think i've made a pet out of Henrietta (the polish) as she comes right up to me & likes to eat of my hand. Lol. Anyways, glad i found this site & look forward to meeting some of ya'll.
