New to this- question

What’s a good water feeder so that my quail chicks don’t fall in it and get all cold and wet. Then I have to make sure they get dry and warm again. I’ve tried putting pebbles in their water, but they just fall on the water on top of it. Thanks!

Are you using a dish for water or a plastic waterer?

The base in picture #1 is what I use and I would think it would work for quail? It's been years since I've kept quail.

If you're using a dish I'd recommend switching to one of these. Make sure you get that exact base, they offer bases that are wider but the quail chicks would definitely be able to get into the water on those.

Oh, thanks for the recommendation, I use cap like things, it’s like the photos, but without that middle island thing.
