I live in a small town called Paia and have 1 rescue hen (Lucky) , one half blind rooster (Heihei) and triplet hens from our first, now expired, rescue hen. I also have about 200 racing pigeons that i love so much. I have had chickens off and on since i was little. My first ever was a black Silky i had when i was 5. As far as breeds go these were all wild rescues so i have no idea what my chickens actually are, all I know is they are my little loves. I like that my hen Lucky and Rooster Heihei are therapeutic in their own ways. They both like me and come right to me when they know im around and they dont do too much when i am gone for some reason. I have many things i do for fun but none that stand out at the moment. I am a chef and love the chickens eggs so i dont spend about 8 to 9 dollars ler dozen.
