I am a first time (September) chicken owner with my girls 13-14 weeks old. I have 11 hens (1 roo I need to rehome)

: 2 Delawares, 2 Prairie blue bells, 4 Lavender Orpingtons, 2 sex links and 1 Chocolate Orpington. My favorite part of being a chicken owner (all 3 months or so) is the joy they bring me, I love to watch them and see what catches their eye. I also love being creative in their living space, with toys, obstacles & more space for them above the ground. Some of my other hobbies include off-roading, camping, puzzles and reading. I married my high school sweetheart and now we are empty nesters with 5 grandchildren and a beautiful flock of 11 that we have so much fun with.

I am so excited to have found this forum, I’m looking forward to learn from y’all.

One place here you could try rehome your rooster is in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. Otherwise, I have the best luck in my state/local poultry groups on FB.
