Hello! I’ve been viewing this site for a couple of years but haven’t joined. I decided to join last week because we were losing baby chicks. I’ll start off by saying a little about us. Our two cockerels and three pullets are a little over two years. We started with 4 girls but unfortunately we lost one to a raccoon attack June 1st of 2022. Cheerio our Buff Orpington pullet refused to live with them after that and moved in with the ducks. Then a few months ago Mega Cheddar Head decided he was top rooster and we had to move our our other male in with the ducks and Cheerio. Recentlymy hen , Poulette, became very broody and so we left her alone. Unfortunately we have lost 5 chicks, but we have three healthy ones. They will be a mix of Buff Orpington and Midnight Majesty Marans. Since we lost the fifth one today I decided to remove the eggs and incubate the rest because Poulette seemed to have lost interest . We also have three older chicks, about 8 weeks old, two of which are pullets and I want to introduce them into the coop soon. I am open to any and all information about chickens! Thank you! I’d like to share some pictures of my chickens! I’d love to see everyone’s chickens!
