Hi, my name is Cindy and I'm from southern Illinois. I raised chickens for about a year. A friend of mine gave me a five hens and one rooster. They were about a 1 1/2 years old when I started raising chickens. I love getting fresh eggs every day and enjoy listening to the rooster crow. I still have much to learn so I became a member.
