Hello! I am new to both this website and to owning chickens. I am from New-Brunswick Canada and I ordered my coop from Costco and it should be here in a month. I also reserved 3 brown chickens for the end of May in the hopes of having them for eggs, using their manure for composting and also having some fresh chicken in the fall. I'm unsure what breed the chickens will be but I think they may be Rhode Island Reds. I love gardening and horseback ridding and love the idea of clean food. I heard of your website from a friend who also has chickens and I look forward to learning as much as I can!
Thank you! Julie

Hi! Yes, 3 is what I'm comfortable with at the moment. They did say 3 to 4 on the coop description but but 3 seemed like a better idea to me.
