Hi and

Good luck with getting that ordinance changed.
We keep chickens in the city, and it's a good experience.
Watch out for predators - if you've got any, you want to make sure your coop is secure. Above as well as around!
Chickens also love treats, yoghurt, fruit when it's warm, kitchen scraps (but still nice ), etc.
