I am a brand new chick mama! And I can't wait to get started! I can't wait to get a lot of help and support for my questions on this forum. I'll post when my chickies arrive! I can't wait!

You sound excited! We're pretty new to chickens as well, and we have found everyone here friendly and helpful! What kind of chicks are you getting?? You should post some pics when they come in!

I'm getting some Golden Buffs (Redstars) I hope they are as docile as everyone has said they are!
 
That's great! We currently have Easter Eggers and Isa Brown/Rhode Island Red chicks, but I really want to get a Buff Orpington - so I'm sure we'll have some eventually!
Have fun with the new chicks - and don't hesitate to ask questions here, everyone is really friendly!
