Welcome! :D I'm kinda newish here, too! I must say, I envy you--I love turkeys, the little darlings, and I wish so much that I could have some. :love The thought of that blackhead stuff scares the fur off me, so I'll just stick with my chicken girls and enjoy everyone else's turkums. :D

Welcome!

We run our breeding Narries around the yard in a good-size hoop tractor. They don't care much about grass, but they love digging for insects, so we keep them on fresh ground until the snow gets too high to pull the tractor around. Their main feed is conventional flock raiser. We supplement with table scraps, garden excess, etc, but all that's a treat. We also provide free choice calcium (oyster shell or egg shells) and grit.
