OK so we have one turkey that we raised with our batch of chickens and they have been free ranging with my older ones now for about 4 weeks. We got two new older turkeys this last week and separated them with a temp piece of ply wood. well the female went over the wood but mostly likes to roost on the ply wood. she is today out free ranging nicely with everyone else. The problem started last night when my new Tom (about 2 yr old) went over the wood wall, he was in my smaller run when all my girls were going into the run and slowly into the coop. He started pecking at the girls so we got him into the larger pen and blocked it off from the coop and his pen where that temp wall is at so he could not get to the girls? Will I every be able top let him free range with the others. can I clip his wings so he won't leave the yard? Do I put the female that came with him back with him or do I let her stay with the others?
