New Turkey owner and I have some questions

My husband won't get hooked on anything animal related, except dogs

He did let me get more chickens this year but all he does is complain about them right now because currently they are brooding in the house, everything is dusty, and the whole house smells despite constant cleaning up after them. Chicks are just stinky. I'm hoping to move them out to the garage tomorrow so at least they won't be bothering him in the house. I now have a dog crate for a brooder (which is where my chicks will be moving into, out in the garage) so I can brood stuff out in the garage better and nothing will be in the house from now on. I'm hoping my parents will give me a bator for my birthday (cause there is no way DH would let me buy one right now). If I get one I'm going to look into buying some Royal Palm eggs if there is still any available by that time. Then I will raise Bruiser some buddies. Until then I think he is on his own
