New turkey owner, Do I need to build anything for my turkeys to lay eggs?

Hello, I'm new to this forum.
I have Narragansett Turkeys 2 hens and 2 Toms they are about a year old. I built a 8 x 16 pen for them, I made a shelter out of hay bales and plywood for a top, besides a perch. Do I need to do anything for them to start laying eggs? The Toms are really vocal lately and finally are strutting around now which is the first time I've seen them doing this. So I'm assuming their ready to breed. am I correct in saying this?
I've never raised any birds so I have no idea what I'm doing. reading this forum really helps me learn

They will lay with or without any additional shelter.

We use a plywood teepee of sorts.

Give them a feeling of security I guess.

Because my bird enclosure is low fenced and I don't want them to leave to lay eggs, I have them inclosed in a coop (You can see 2/3rds of it... so it's bigger than it looks) till they start going broody. I also wanted to keep the chickens and preditors away from them.
For the nesting box, I took a wood shipping crate, painted the heck out of it and cut a large opening in it. You can see it in the back corner. The BBW hen has already laid 3 eggs in the box so far (though I've taken her eggs cause I'm afraid she'll crush them). I'm getting another one in a couple days and hope to get it painted up and in the coop before they start laying.

I'll be setting the box against the wall tonight, looks like it may get too much sun and get too hot for them. I may also put some vent holes along the sides/back. If I were to use these outside, I'd put tin on the top and secure the roof at a bit of an angle.
