New turner "ticking" the eggs? Is that normal?

My new 1610 turner sort of vibrates the eggs as it ticks. Is that normal? I thought vibration was bad. My eggs are definately feeling the ticking. Normal?

Mine, too. I called the company and they said ticking is not normal and they are sending me a new one. You should hand turn unti lyou get a replacement!

Did they say how long it will take? If it can come by monday or Tuesday I could wait and set then..... hmmm.

Crap! I just got mine too. I'm planning to start my hatch the week of 2/13 and wasn't planning on test firing the incubator this early. I'm going to check it out now. I hope I know what to look for. . .

I just talked to them also. They said it is nothing to worry about, but they are going to send me a new motor anyway.

Which company? I dealt with Incubator Warehouse. Great service, I must say. They didn't say how long it would take.

MothrHen - could you let us know if yours does that ticking when you start it? If yours does it, too I will be a lot less nervous that it is a problem.
