New turner "ticking" the eggs? Is that normal?

There's def a humming while it's running. You can feel it with your hand. I don't know if that is what you feel. I'm more frustrated with trying to install the thermostat. I can't get the light to go off. . .

Hmmmm... my light goes on and off and the temperature is perfect. I have the 1588. Good luck!

The electric thermo doesn't match the second one I put in, off by 2 degreess at egg level.
