Welcome to the BYC Coop Group. Love your chicken breeds. Isa Browns and Barred Rocks are terrific. We have both breeds ourselves. Isa Browns were acquired as a mix up by Rural King but we love them. Prolific layers for us. They just started at the beginning of August. Our Barred Rocks were a trip around the block but they are coming along. I wish you well with you new flock.

how do you mean a "trip"? my barred rocks are quite well behaved personally, but i have a specific chicken that does like to be troublesome! my Isa brown lady loves to jump out of the run area and nest in a nearby ash pile..
