New water container

I ve recently purchased a new water container for my 13 week old chicks as a secondary water source And they seem not to be using it. Any tips? Should I dunk there beaks in it?

They can smell water like most animals, so if you have to, remove the normal water font for short periods and they will use the other watering device.
