Any ideas on how to train my 5 week old chicks to drink from this new waterer?

Press the lil yellow trigger so that the cup fills. Do this for a couple days while still giving them water in their normal waterer. Then take away their other waterer. And watch to be sure they've figured it out. I started my adult on these drinker cups a few years ago and they figured it out within hours. Babies my be a little slower to catch on though.

I've been filling the cups up every few hours they just haven't caught on yet. They drink what's in the cup then that's it.

Tap their beak against the trigger every time you visit them. They will figure it out but it is difficult for the young to learn then the adults. That's what I do, once 1 figures it out the rest pick it up quick.
