new way to keep hawks away!

all you have to do is staple netting to the top of your run. Put support beams across the run so the netting does not cave in when it snows and voila the hawks can't get in!

Ive used netting over my run...(run is probably 20 x 24) without the support beams and this is my second year with the same netting. It came down twice and hasnt at all this year.....over all it has worked out very well!

I've used that plastic snow fence (in the dark green instead of orange) as well and cut it to length and used a few strips. It is 4' wide and I place my cross supports at the that width and staple it down. Won't win any beauty contests but seems to do the job. Also provides a measure of shade in the summer.
