New with Swedish Flower Hens

I feel bummed that we got ripped off in that we ordered SFH and we got something else but to be honest, it's not that big a deal. I've gotten kind of attached to these birds. I've never said this before about a darn chicken but these three are actually "well-behaved."

Glad too that you don't feel to bad about "getting ripped off" cause unfortunately it happens. I ordered Legbar eggs from someone I met in person at a big event. He said he mailed, I asked for tracking info to find out what happened, he said didn't have a tracking number but would re-ship. Long story short, I never rec'd eggs and was out $$$. And that was someone I spent a lot of time talking to since we were set up next to each other at the event.

well behaved chickens and roos are a great asset.you can keep more than one roo without them trying to kill each other. sometimes not an easy task.

We have 1 rooster to every 5 or so hens, and have them separated. Once I'm sure of the gender of the 3 from the pics, I'll figure out if I have to get rid of any of them. We normally give them away.

that's one of the reasons i gave up ebay. cancelled my account. the wife still has one though. i just never use it.

I have two brothers out there as well. One near Rolling Prairie and one near South Carlisle.
