Ladies, today we traveled to Spain to visit the Alhambra . Budget airline and we have rented an apartment from the Internet . When we got here we found it is owned by an American man who's mother used to work for Eleanor Burns so the place is full of quilts!!
This is our view, we just can't believe it!

@ fenrose I bet you'll enjoy it, I saw the Alhambra when I was traveling in Dec (1991) not peek time for the vegetation but the hardscape of the garden was very evident, tiles, fountains etc, & had a special quality of mystery and hushed grandure being off-season. We trust you will also send photos of the quilts if they will let you take pics!

Thanks Rustyhen, I'm really hoping. I got these birds b/c the cockerel and pullet were badly injured half grown birds last winter and they got passed along several times until they ended up with me. I'm so happy they survived! The cockerel's entire tail and all back feathers were ripped out when I got him, now 1 yr later he is amazing! Obviously they are great heritage birds, but I don't know what line(s) they come from due to them being handed off repeatedly until they made it to my hospital pen. Time will tell on the eggs/chicks...

Sorry , just got round to photographing my mug rug from Minniechicks. Isn't it fabulous. I love the colours and the design allows the beautiful fabrics to shine through. I love it.
