New Year, New Goals: Setting Resolutions for a Fresh Start

  • Go fishing at least once
  • Try out at least three restaurants near me that I haven’t visited before (currently at 1/3)

What kinds have you tried already? Maybe we can suggest some.
I've tried and not liked the following😅😅

Corn (on the cob or in the can)
Sweet potatoes
Avocadoes🤮
Cauliflower
Tomatoes
Peppers (any type)
Peas
Celery
Cabbage

Technically most of them are fruits but yeah🥴😅
Oh and I also like cucumbers😀

Sometimes how they’re prepared makes all the difference!

Broccoli raw, even doused in ranch? Gross.
Broccoli roasted? With olive oil, salt + pepper? Amazing!

What about onions? Melons? Squash? Spinach? Beets? Radishes? Eggplant?

…I guess it might be easier to ask, what sorts of flavors/textures do you like/dislike?

Goals and objectives for 2025:
1. Balance chicken budget.
—2 x hatch/sell from Marans flock. 🐣
— Dedicate a chicken garden for Fall to cut feed cost by 10% 🥬

2. Personal improvement: Mind and body
—Zumba- I will master the MJ Thriller choreography by March without breaking a hip. 🤸🏾
—Ditch the hot glue gun and learn to sew for my craft projects by Sept for Christmas craft shows. 🪡

Simple. Measurable. Attainable.

Oh yeah... Forgot to add onions, squash, spinach, beets, and radishes on the list lol...Never tried eggplant before but I can imagine that I would hate the texture😅🤢 I hate mushy textures, such as the texture you would get from spinach, squash, etc.🙂
