Different prefab coop on Defender run?

This might be a long shot, but here we go..

I currently use a Producer's Pride Defender coop with attached run (roughly 10 foot x 10 foot). We built an 11 foot x 35 foot run extension, so our chickens have a good amount of outdoor space they have year-round access to.

The coop is showing its age at 6 years old, and we are looking to replace it. I measured the dimensions of the current coop at about 56 inches wide by 72 inches tall.

Has anyone here had luck attaching a standalone coop to this run, or do you have any ideas on where to start?

The original run is in decent shape and we built the extension onto it, so we're not looking to replace the run at this point. Side note: we recently went from 5 chickens to 10.

Addendums!
The new 5 chickens are laying age and do have their own smaller run and coop within the big run. They all mix during the day and lay their eggs in the big coop, but the younger ones sleep in the smaller coop at night.

The *only* reason I'm looking for prefab is that we have 2 very small children and currently have precious little time for a new build or complicated retrofit. We built the run extension ourselves, but our current schedules don't allow for a lot of shop time.

How tall is the Producer's Pride 10x10 run? I suppose more importantly, what are the dimensions of the opening into the run? That's where you're going to have to try to match things up.

Do you actually need to use this run as a run, since you have this great 11x35 run? Maybe you can use the 10x10 as a location for a broody jail (coop inside), integrating new chickens, sick bay/ recuperation area, etc.

-and I should have added: since you don't seem to have an immediate time crunch, I'd suggest skipping the whole pre-fab thing. Frankly, it's a miracle that you've gotten six years out of the current one!

You might start looking around for an existing new or used shed that you can walk into and that will comfortably hold 10 chickens (they get so big so quickly! ) and possibly some of their Stuff as well. Once your flock hits this size, they're going to need room to get away from one another at times, especially when they've got some sort of feud going. That happens a lot with extended bad weather (rain, extreme cold, when they're stuck with one another and can't really get away.)

I second looking for a shed to convert. Ten chickens should have at least 40 square feet of coop floor space, 10 feet of roost length, and around 10 square feet of year round ventilation. And you will LOVE having the height of a walk-in coop.

I should have clarified, the 56 inches wide x 72 inches tall is also the dimension of the opening to the run where we would be putting a new coop.

I can see us possibly closing the gate to close off groups if needed, but we actually also have a smaller enclosed run and coop inside the big one as a chick/sickie area.

Also, as I forgot to mention, we already have a smaller run and coop within the bigger run, and our new 5 chickens have 'adopted' that for sleep rather than move into the big coop. They do all mix during the day and they use the big coop to lay.

I've heard that retrofitting a shed can be messy and ventilation is tricky. I'd be all for it, but as I said above, we don't have much spare time to work on a new build right now. If it were just minor additions/adjustments we might be able to swing it.

I get that. But pretty much all prefab coops are inadequate. I know in my area there are lots of Amish-built sheds for sale and they ship and install them for you. There has to be someone who would be willing to modify one to your specifications (leave the eaves open for ventilation, etc.).
