Hello! I've been using BYC for info for awhile and decided to join. I live in San Marcos tx and have 4 silkies. I love my chickens and am always looking for any extra info I can get!

You might enjoy exploring the silkie threads. The largest is simply called "Silkie thread." There are others by color: Buff Silkies, BB&S silkies, Paint silkies, Nothing but Partridge silkies, etc. There is also another variety of silkie called
"Showgirls." They have a "very" different look to them. People either love or hate it. But they have the same silkies qualities,
