(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had my chickens for 1 year, 2 next May. I have never had chickens before but my husband has 20+ years ago and I am not sure if that counts...
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 8 hens and a newly added rooster to my flock
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 4 Rhode island reds hens, 1 Rhode Red Rooster, 3 Plymouth rocks, and 1 Black Sex Link.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I frequent this site quite a bit looking for answers and I just needed to make an account to post my own questions lol! Ill have to post pictures of my flock and run (not very good looking right now im trying to improve it)
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love to knit and crochet (although i havent had very much spare time) and garden :3 I love playing TLOZ when I do have time but it hasn't been recently
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a 25 y/o women and my hubby is 58. Yes its a big difference. No, I AM robbing the grave haha. He and his dad (from this day forward is Pop) built the coop. I also have 4 cats which i am very proud of, my babies Jezebelle, Ashe, Soraya, and my big boy Max. Jez and Max are parents of the girls. I currently work as a medical assistant at a dermatologist office and hubby is semi retired after 3 shoulder surgeries and 2 right knee surgeries.
