Hello all,

I have jumped head first into this crazy hobby! I am on 3 acres in the piedmont of NC and plan on having about 25 laying hens when it is all said and done. Right now I have 6 “Americana” chicks from Hoover’s. Ordered 20 and only 6 made it … sad. Now I am in a rush to find more chicks so that I can introduce them together with the 4 day old chicks I have in the brooder before it is too late. This thing is already starting out crazy!
