Welcome. I will say that I love roosters. I don't think you should get rid of him and definitely not cull. You need a rooster for your hens, and he is just doing his job...he just needs a little maturing and help finding his way. PM me if you want me to help you.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!

I currently have a mean rooster. He's young yet so I am giving him time. I'm doing the reverse of penning him up. The other rooster and hen he terrorizes the most I just now penned up. They are tickled pink! I will come up with another hen or two and voila, a breeding pen has just been started.

I hope your rooster tones it down a bit or you can find a nicer one. There are so many nice roosters that deserve a good home and they are a joy to have around.
