I was a newby last year, and have learned so much from the friendly people here. I too live in the 'burbs, but my city allows 10 chickens. So I have 4 pullets almost old enough to be called hens and 7 brand spanking new babies in the bator.

You'll find the best support group here for whatever ails ya,
But be warned, we are all enablers here, always encouraging you to get more chickens any way you can.
