OK, no one told me that chickens are addicting! Last April my daughter and I got 3 chickens to start (for 4-H) we raised them from baby chicks. What a joy! This year we are building a big coop and a 20x40 pin. We just went and got 13 more babies....you know how it goes, you want 2 Blue Laced Wyandotte's and they have 3 and of course you can not leave the one! Then you see this baby chick with a Mohawk and of course you have to have that one....We have a blast with them, we name them and love them, one of the older ones will come in the house and jump on my lap, she loves raisins. They are work, but as stated before "my pet makes me breakfast"!
