My girls doin good today. I've done the water bottles sprayed pen ice in water ect...they get mad when I spray them. Lol ANOTHER QUESTION: Why do they lay eggs in the middle of the day when its so hot?? I have one in there now (2pm)just panting away. So I put a frozen bottle in there w her. Most of them r done laying by noon.

I'm not good with doing this at all but I'm guessing a Black Austrolorp.

So can anyone tell me why when my chickens r in their box(forever I might add) they make this big squawk and fluff up their feathers. They all like to use the same box so it takes along time for them all to lay. I've never got to actually see one lay before so idk if its saying leave me alone or I'm laying an egg. Lol
