Hi,
I have wanted chickens for a long time. I put them on my bucket list and, now have the chance to try to raise a few.
I could be completely out of my mind! I have been reading on BYC for a while, finally joined. I hope I am a good chicky mama!

You'll be just fine. Start your chicken education at the Learning Center and branch out to other forums as you need them.

LOL, welcome. Sounds like what I did too. I was on every chicken website I could find learning all I could about chickens before I got my chicks from Murray last year. I started out to get just enough to keep my small family in eggs but then I ended up with twice as many as I intended. Be careful of chicken math! It will sneak up on you.
