Newbe building a coop

I took a closer look, I thought it was a black panther.

Here some photos of my chickens(brown leghorns) and coop pics.I lost 1 chicken of cocydliosis but the vet told me what it was and gave me meds so Bonnie was the only casualty but we had separated her early on I had seen the smallest chicken being picked on And her wings droupping.Very sad.

Hi and welcome to BYC! It looks like you're building a wonderful coop! What breeds of chickens do you plan on getting?

Leghorns We bought 4 mo old hens and they only had brown leghorns. Newbie here but they are very jumpy and won't let me touch

Some breeds are more friendly than others. Try winning them over by sitting out with them offering a tasty treat like dried mealworms or chopped tomatoes they may never want you to touch them but they will learn to eat from your hand. Only my bantam Cochin will let me touch them and cuddle.

Meal worms are like Crack! They will love you forever...eventually. The coop is gorgeous!

I love Leghorns! Just be patient and spend time with them. Bring treats.
