I'm new too an can't answer your questions, but I would suggest posting this questions under the "Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures" forum. Click on INDEX on the blue bar at the top left of your screen, scroll down and click on Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures, then post with the disease name in the subject, then explain as much as you can in the body of the message.
This suggestion is from my experience in the last 24 hours. I did an intro just like you with a medical question I thought was minor. One person's response to me was that they had a thread on Big Foot, so posting one chick's problem is what everyone is here for. So I did that and got lots of help.
