(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I think I answered this one already.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I own one hen. My first hen was from my daughter's highschool Ag teacher, who tinted the chicks and then had to find homes for all of them. Next month I will own 11.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have had one white leghorn, and 6 Rhode Island Reds.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horse-training, riding, slave-laboring for my horses; CW Reenacting, Sewing, Painting, Remodeling the 100-yr old house, Gardening---Anybody want some of my 70 transplanted tomato seedlings?
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have been married 30 years. My husband is a trial attorney. I have 3 grown daughters. Elizabeth is a manager for a "Game Stop." Wilma works for Carle Clinic, a local (LARGE) medical clinic. Victoria is a Junior at the University of Illinois. I am currently office managing for Jim's practice. I will return to teaching middle school next year--probably teaching science. I am a vocalist and pianist, and have done some film-making.
Besides Fanny, I have 4 cats (Clever, Favorite, Artemus and Tomkins), 2 dogs (Rose and Pygma), 2 geldings, (Corporal and Ro Go Bar,) and one Mare (Moon Eyes.)
I live in central Illinois, in a small town SSE of Urbana, IllinoisYOU KNOW!! Its where the University of Illinois is, the largest land-owner in Champaign County!!
