I have 12 chickens. Not familiar with breeds. red rooster(welsummer red partridge?), hen (buff orpington?), rooster, large in presence,multi colored beiges,tans,greys, hen, reddish brown, good layer, medium brownish eggs. My son just brought me 8 chicks of varying breeds. I am married 42 years next week. We have three dogs (boxer, 2 poodles) and a new kitten about 10 weeks and an 8 year old female cat named kitkat. Will be uploading pictures as soon as I figure out the process.
lol:Thanks everybody. Good to know there is someone out there. Now I will have to learn to reply to individuals if that is possible. I want to learn all I can about my chickens. My son is showing interest so I want to draw him in. He is a swat cop and needs the distraction.
