HI, everyone, I'm from Shelbyville Tn and just started my chicken flock today. I got a road Island red and my rooster is a Plymouth rock. I am getting 4 more hens from a friend. but they are run of the mill type of white chickens. can't wait until I get my whole flack together and then I can let them roam free around my house.

Welcome to BYC. I recommend you keep them in the coop and run for a few weeks so they learn where home is. If you let them out right away they may run away.
This is a great place to learn about chickens, enter contests, and make friends. Enjoy those chickens!
