Both the black chicks look female to me. All of the others are definitely male; they have male specific feathering. I also doubt that any are Salmon Faverolles; I see feathered legs and beard on "Speckled Sussex #2", so that is your possible Faverolles, likely a mix or poorly bred bird as he lacks a fifth toe. Where did you get them, as I don't really think the rest are Sussex either; they are the wrong colour and one appears to have yellow legs (may be lighting).

I think they may be all cockerels. For 6 weeks both of the Jersey Giants look like cockerels to me. JG mature slower than some of the other breeds and those have orange combs and wattles coming in at 6 weeks, I'll be really surprised if they're pullets. If they're actually full JG, I'm not sure, there is quite a bit of white on the one.

Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

Sadly I agree with the other posters. :barnie

Now I see you say "it might be mixed with Speckled Sussex"... I thought your just meant the pic, but now I realize you likely mean the birds itself, as others have noted... nothing pure Faverolle going on there. :pop

Talk about bad gender luck... unless you are hungry. :drool

I just got them off a random backyard farm and she said they could be mixed apparently the roster got in the some other hens ... but yea they

all have this little funny back toe thing haha

I think the first black chick is female. The second black one is most likely a cockerel. The rest are male for sure.
